Summertime
A good semester, a dream fulfilled and summertime love.
Its been way too long since I've written and I need to get this out some how so here it goes!
I FINALLY WENT TO FRANCE!!! It was a vision trip with CRU at my university. It was the absolute best week of my life to date.
We spent most of our time in Montpellier, about ten miles north of the Mediterranean. We went out everyday and talked to the college students there, asking them questions and disscussing spirituality, life, etc. trying to share our faith with them. a few students are still very involved with the ministry on campus, called Agape. I can't wait to see what God does with their ministry.
The last day of our trip, we spent in Paris <3 . It was the most magical day of my life. I could feel God's blessings showering me when I was on top of the Eiffel Tower, while it was glittering against the black night sky. I couldn't hold back the tears. God kept his promises :)
I had a great semester at school. I had a fantastic roommate, Laura. She is such a sweetheart and we had so many good times. Classes were alright but I grew spiritually, more than any other way. I found an amazing home church, and I love the people there so much. I feel like that is where I am supposed to be for right now..however i am home for the summer right now but I am returning in August, not for school but I am getting an apartment and will be working full time. Im so excited for this next chapter!
but for right now I am working close to home with a simple summer job, saving up for an apartment. I've been soaking up as may rays as the sun will give me, reading, cleaning and trying to dive deeper into the love of God. He is so good.
on a last note, this is my final month of being a teenager and its an odd feeling by I'm ready for this new responsibility of adulthood, after I have as many stupid adventures this month as possible, so I can still blame it on my ignorant teenage ways. ;)
Until next time, Friends!
